BREAKER
QUARTER 1 PROGRESS

A linear level-based FPS with an emphasis on adrenaline and speedrunning. Reeves is taking his revenge on the casino that took it all, after a psychotic break induced by a gambling loss. Using his intimate knowledge of technology, systems, and weaponry, he’s gonna kill them all until they give back what they took.

Led production for a 23 person team by coordinating designers, programmers, and QA to deliver iterative gameplay builds
Oversaw sprint planning, milestone scheduling, and task prioritization using Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of core gameplay features and content updates
Managed playtesting and data collection and analyzed player performance metrics to inform design adjustments and optimize pacing, difficulty, and engagement
Coordinated cross-departmental bug tracking and feature iteration, streamlining communication between programming, design, and QA to accelerate development cycles
Facilitated integration of Unreal Engine tools and workflows across departments, improving efficiency in asset implementation, build stability, and version control

BREAKER is my capstone project for UC Irvine's Game Design and Interactive Media program. Capstone for the GDIM major lasts during the Fall and Winter quarters (20 weeks total, September-March). I will update this section in mid-December, when Fall 2025 concludes at UCI.
